OCR takes a deep dive into the earth's final uncharted wilderness
> New topics include migrant trafficking, rising sea-levels and piracy
> New 'Exploring Oceans' topic offers the chance to combine physical and human geography
> 'Geographical Debates' section of A level to look at global issues such as Climate Change and the Future of Food.
From September 2016, exam board OCR's new Geography A level will be introduced. Mark Smith, OCR's Geography specialist, says: "With the chance to explore topics like 21st century piracy, pandemics and plastic pollution, there has never been a more exciting time to study geography at school."
