New English Literature and Language A Level is accredited | October 2014
> Students will study a rich range of texts, from classics like Shakespeare and William Blake, to graphic novels political speeches.
Exam board OCR and award-winning educational charity The English and Media Centre (EMC) are delighted to announce that their new A Level in English Language and Literature has been accredited by Ofqual for teaching from September 2015.
Paul Dodd, OCR Director of Reform, said: “We are delighted that Ofqual has accredited this fresh and exciting new specification. Our aim in creating the specification was to produce a course with a rich, diverse mix of content – including highly regarded contemporary texts as well as long-established works – that will inspire and engage a new generation of students.”
